Used this PowerMax PM4 for my boat and it's been a great addition. The 55 amp output is more than enough for my needs, and the smart charger is a nice feature. Just make sure you follow the instructions closely for installation.

Works okay but a bit noisy
The PM4 works for what I need, but I did notice it makes a bit of a humming noise when powering my devices. It's not a dealbreaker, but I was hoping it’d be quieter. Installation was straightforward though, so that’s a plus.

Solid power converter for my needs
I bought the PowerMax PM4 for my RV to convert 110V AC to 12V DC. It's been running my refrigerator and lights beautifully without any issues. The built-in smart battery charger is a nice bonus, keeping my batteries charged without any fuss.

Not what I expected
Unfortunately, my PowerMax PM4 arrived damaged, so I had to send it back. The packaging was a bit flimsy which may have contributed to the issue. I really wanted to use it for my camping setup, but I’m stuck without it for now.
