Introducing the markets first true air slide hammer, the 658 Stubby Air Slide Hammer from Astro Tools. Unlike anything else available, this revolutionary tool tackles most jobs traditional slide hammers handle, but in less time thanks to up to 1,200 blows per minute. This translates to pulling force comparable to a 3.54.5lb manual slide hammer on hard joints such as stubborn rusted solid parts, and 4.56lb on soft joint tasks like pulley removal or dent pulling. The unique design offers both an extension rod and spindle with matching 5/818 threads. This lets you use it as a standard slide hammer when needed or convert it to a stubby configuration for tight spaces where traditional slide hammers would not have enough room to operate. For added control, the lever throttle provides onthefly adjustment of force and speed. Simply focus on the job at hand while the tool delivers the power you need. The air hammers performance scales with the incoming air pressure and volume, with a normal operating range of 90120psi. Bring your slide hammer attachments into the 21st century by threading them onto the 658 Stubby Air Slide Hammer!
