Bosch Blue offers advanced, platform specific friction formulations for optimal performance. Blue delivers superior noise dampening capabilities with OE-style multi-layer shims. Rust inhibitive coating prevents the formation of rust and corrosion which can lead to pad degradation and noisy braking. OE design slots and chamfers deliver superior braking performance and efficient, quiet stops. Precision manufactured to strict tolerances for guaranteed fit, and simple, hassle-free installation. Supplied with synthetic lubricant for reduced resistance on sliding contact points. Set includes brake pads for 1 axle (2 wheels). NOTE: Pads come wrapped in a protective blue shop towel within the box. Hardware not included.
Swapped out my old brake pads for these Bosch ones, and it couldn't have been easier. The blue color looks good on my car, and they work like a charm for stopping. Definitely a good buy for anyone with a Volvo!

Solid Performance, But Some Noise
These brake pads definitely improved my V40's braking performance, but I noticed a bit of squeaking at first. It’s not unbearable, though. Installation was straightforward, and I appreciate the semi-metallic material for better heat dissipation.

Good Pads but Slow Delivery

Not What I Expected
I was excited to try these semi-metallic pads on my V40, but after a few weeks, they started making a weird grinding sound. I might have got a defective set, as my previous pads didn’t do this. Disappointed with the performance.
