All Maxxtow ball mounts have a heavy duty black powder coat finish to resist rust and corrosion and are manufactured and tested to meet all current SAE safety standards.
The setup was pretty straightforward for the MaxxHaul hitch, and I do appreciate the three-ball mount feature. However, the black finish started to fade after just a couple of months in the sun, which is disappointing. Still functional, just not as nice looking.

Great for Towing, But Heavy to Handle
I've been using the MaxxHaul 70270 for a few months now. It's great for towing my boat and the multiple ball sizes are really convenient. The only downside is that it's a bit heavy to maneuver when I'm attaching it to the vehicle, but once it's on, it does the job well!
