Each Strongarm lift support is custom engineered, and manufactured beyond industry standards to provide smoother operating, and longer lasting performance. Lift supports should be replaced in pairs to ensure safe, reliable support of your hood, hatch, or liftgate.
I like the StrongArm 6191L lift support; it’s sturdy and does the job. However, it did arrive with a small dent on the casing, which was disappointing. It still works perfectly, but I expected better quality control in shipping.

Solid performance but installation was tricky
These lift supports from StrongArm are pretty good. They hold my hatch up well, but I had a bit of a hard time getting them installed. The instructions weren't super clear, but once I figured it out, they’ve been working great!

Disappointed with the performance
