DescriptionAs Troy Lee Designs top-selling pair of baggies, the Skyline Short Shell strikes the right balance between pedal-friendly mobility and resiliency against trail thrashings. This particular version is available in shell only, so youll be able to wear it over your favorite padded liner shorts. Its relaxed fit allows you to pedal uphill and descend freely, all while comfortably draping over your knee pads during those downhill shuttles and bike park sessions.
The Skyline shorts are nice for cross country biking, and I like the iron color. However, I found the sizing a bit off; they were larger than I expected. Also, they took a while to arrive, which was a little frustrating. Still, they’re comfortable enough for long rides!

Disappointed with the quality
I was excited to try these Troy Lee Designs shorts for BMX riding, but I was let down. After just a few rides, I noticed some stitching coming undone. They look great in solid iron, but I expected better durability for the price. Not worth it for me.

Great fit for trail riding!
I picked up the Troy Lee Designs Skyline shorts in solid iron for my weekend mountain biking trips. They fit perfectly and allow for great movement without feeling too baggy. I really appreciate the lack of a liner, as I prefer my own padded shorts underneath. Definitely a solid purchase!
